We know a basic cosmology from scripture, and nothing more. Scripture also states that it is not for man to understand the workings of this world. What we know, is depicted below, and we are not meant to know much beyond this:

Those who espouse some great and wise understanding of the universe, both where we live and how things work, have turned His creation upside down. These wise man will seem foolish when God displays His true workings.
“therefore, behold, I will again do wonderful things with this people, with wonder upon wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the discernment of their discerning men shall be hidden.” Ah, you who hide deep from the Lord your counsel, whose deeds are in the dark, and who say, “Who sees us? Who knows us?” You turn things upside down! Shall the potter be regarded as the clay, that the thing made should say of its maker, “He did not make me”; or the thing formed say of him who formed it, “He has no understanding”?”
Isaiah 29:14-16 ESV
God can see to the outer ends of the earth, which are under heaven. No living creature has comprehension of His creation. Out wisdom comes from the realization that we have no true understanding of His craftsmanship.
“From where, then, does wisdom come? And where is the place of understanding? It is hidden from the eyes of all living and concealed from the birds of the air. Abaddon and Death say, ‘We have heard a rumor of it with our ears.’ “God understands the way to it, and he knows its place. For he looks to the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens. When he gave to the wind its weight and apportioned the waters by measure, when he made a decree for the rain and a way for the lightning of the thunder, then he saw it and declared it; he established it, and searched it out. And he said to man, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.’
Job 28:20-28 ESV
The proud speaks without understanding, and has no comprehension of His creation. This creation has a foundation underneath, is stretched out with a line, sunk with bases and a cornerstone within a closed door system, is covered on top with clouds like a blanket, entrapped all around in darkness, and has a limit to its outer reaches in order to contain all of creation within it.
““Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge? Dress for action like a man; I will question you, and you make it known to me. “Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements—surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy? “Or who shut in the sea with doors when it burst out from the womb, when I made clouds its garment and thick darkness its swaddling band, and prescribed limits for it and set bars and doors, and said, ‘Thus far shall you come, and no farther, and here shall your proud waves be stayed’?”
