Excerpt from Introduction
“We live in the last days. There are signs everywhere that point us to His coming. God’s prophetic plans may very well come to fruition in our lifetimes. It is important to understand that just as Yeshua (Jesus) fulfilled many of the important prophecies in His day, and many did not see them, so too today, we may be witnessing prophetic fulfillment of the end times, and not have eyes to see. While there may be a final culmination of the Book of Revelation which identifies an individual as a ‘beast’ or ‘false prophet’ or ‘witness’, these identifiers may already be defined for us Biblically, and it is important to scour the scripture for clues as to their meaning. May we have eyes to see, and consider things with an open mind. May we never miss prophetic fulfillment in our day due to preconceived notions.”
Eschatology, or the study/knowledge of the end times, is complex and varies dramatically between Christian denominations. The 3 largest divisions include Post-Millenialists, Amillenialists, and Pre-Millenialists as far as where we sit in time in regard to the millennial kingdom. Post-Millenials think we’re beyond the millenium at this point, amillenialists think we’re in it, and pre-millennials think it’s yet to come. Other divisions include how we interpret the book of Revelation as a whole. Some are pretarist, meaning they believe the Book of Revelation’s prophecy are largely already fulfilled at the fall of Jerusalem in 70AD, historicists, who believe it has been repeatedly fulfilled throughout time, and futurists, who believe the book is largely unfulfilled prophecy. I am firmly in the camp of a pre-millennial futurist, yet acknowledge some truths about the historicist/pretarist positions regarding 70AD.
The reason I believe prophecy is yet largely unfulfilled is because so much of it fits perfectly with today’s current events, and the history of the kingdoms that have ruled the common land of Israel to this point. For example, the 7 heads of the 1st beast from the sea in Revelation 13 align perfectly with 7 kingdoms that have occupied/ruled the land of Israel. This is the anti-christ system. The second beast form the land refers to a secular kingdom that looks like a lamb in that it serves the God of Israel, but speaks as a dragon and deceives the earth, with its two protector horns or powers and its creation of an image to the first beast kingdoms that even speaks. This is the false prophet system. We will specifically identify today’s players of these prophecies. In addition, the makings of a mark, in a 666, are here today, and on almost every single item you buy. It could be implemented easily any day, and an argument could be made that it was implemented already and this prophecy is fulfilled in the land of the false prophet, who makes the mark. We will identify Mystery Babylon as well, for that it is spoken of extensively in scripture. Finally, it is my belief that we have already witnessed the four horses of Revelation 6, and we may be within the 6th seal which contains the 7 Trumpets and 7 Bowls.
